Business Development Manager

Cobalt Service Partners is a leading provider of automatic door installation, service, and repair across Middle Tennessee. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers, focusing on installation volume and service agreements.

Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities for automatic door installation projects and service agreements
Expand revenue within existing high-value accounts by identifying additional locations, scopes, and service needs
Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, general contractors, property managers, and industry partners
Develop referral relationships with glaziers, glass companies, builders, and construction partners
Conduct on-site walkthroughs to assess scope, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
Identify projects early and help influence scope and approach before formal bidding
Collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and service teams to deliver accurate proposals and smooth handoffs
Maintain accurate pipeline activity, opportunity notes, and forecasts in CRM
Represent Nashville Door with professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability

Required

4+ years of sales experience in automatic doors; with consideration given to candidates from door hardware, access control, storefront glazing, overhead doors, or similar commercial building services
Proven success generating new opportunities while expanding existing accounts
Strong understanding of how installation projects and service work originate, as well as grow over time
Comfortable prospecting, job walking, and initiating new relationships
Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and credibly
Organized, self-directed, and accountable for results
Comfortable spending significant time in the field with customers and partners
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
