Responsibilities
Process / Product validation & transfer – Extrusion
Assist with product/process qualification
Provide Technical Support to TE Bulk Cable Manufacturing sites
Provide Training Support for Extrusion Process for the Pant Teams
Interact with test lab on product/process qualification activities
Support process improvement activities plus DOE, PFMEA, 8D & FA
Tooling Specification & Design
Support Cost Reduction Initiatives
Support SAFE Activities
Support ISO Activities
Provide Technical support for maintenance activities
Provide any support for any activities or projects necessary to support the business
Qualification
Required
Process / Product validation & transfer – Extrusion
Assist with product/process qualification
Provide Technical Support to TE Bulk Cable Manufacturing sites
Provide Training Support for Extrusion Process for the Pant Teams
Interact with test lab on product/process qualification activities
Support process improvement activities plus DOE, PFMEA, 8D & FA
Tooling Specification & Design
Support Cost Reduction Initiatives
Support SAFE Activities
Support ISO Activities
Provide Technical support for maintenance activities
Provide any support for any activities or projects necessary to support the business
Min 7 years experience in a wire & cable manufacturing
Preferred
Plastics, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree preferred
Knowledge of extrusion monitoring & control systems desirable
Proficient in SPC/Six Sigma/Lean
Knowledge of materials used in the manufacture of wire & cable a plus
Knowledge of additional manufacturing processes & equipment used in the manufacture of wire & cable a plus
