Keystone Space Collaborative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the growing space industry in the Tri-State region of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. They are seeking a Director of Strategic Engagement to enhance value for the regional space community through strategic partnerships, membership growth, and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow organizational membership and sponsorship

Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and track progress and engagement

Serve as primary point of contact for members, ensuring a high-quality experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement

Build and execute engagement campaigns to drive participation in events, working groups, programming, etc

Collect member feedback and use insights to inform program improvements and expansion

Develop relationships that strengthen retention, renewals, and member advocacy

Lead efforts to enhance Keystone Space’s presence as a premier hub for Tri-State engagement across various stakeholders including partners, public officials, funders, educational institutions, speakers, and national/international space associations and organizations

Collaborate with the Program Director and Board of Directors to devise effective strategies aimed at amplifying awareness and expanding the visibility of Keystone Space

Required

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in membership sales, business development, or related fields

Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue or growth targets

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment

Experienced in organizing and tracking opportunities

Proven ability to secure funding and cultivate meaningful relationships with members and sponsors to support the organization's mission and ensure sustained operations

Well organized

Effective time management

Preferred

Proficient understanding of and experience in the space/aerospace industry, coupled with an established network of contacts within the sector

Previous experience in non-profit organizations

Competency in analyzing organizational metrics and presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner to support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization
