In Process Quality Technician - 1st Shift
Schneider Electric is seeking an In Process Quality Technician for incoming inspection on 1st shift to join their team. The role involves performing inspections of incoming components, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with various teams to address quality issues.

Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards
Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances; collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly
Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards during all inspection activities
Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold quality expectations
Accurately record inspection results in SAP and maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits
Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and maintain it in good condition. Immediately report hazards, incidents, and accidents to supervisors. Adhere to Provincial HS&E legislation, regulations, and company policies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures
Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics
Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral)
Strong organizational abilities
Computer proficiency
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor
Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift
Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work
Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively
