Program Coordinator IV

Responsibilities

Review of utility companies’ proposals for changes in rates and service
Utilities response to federal and state regulations
Preparation of recommendations the North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) on reviewing HHG claims and audits, and providing qualified guidance on suitable practices within the regulatory scope

Required

Bachelor's from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of experience related to the area of assignment
An equivalent combination of training and experience
Analytical skills to interpret comprehensive general statutes, rules, tariffs, and regulations with appropriate discretion
Demonstrated ability to independently apply critical thinking to formulate interpretations, judgements, and resolutions in variable manner
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with management at all levels, various internal departments, and external parties
General knowledge of office equipment systems and related technology, including general office software programs
Basic knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, as well as business math principles in billing situations
