Business Development Manager
AtWork Personnel is one of the largest and fastest-growing recruiting companies in the US, seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager for their new branch in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on driving sales success by identifying and securing new business opportunities in staffing services while building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate and pursue new leads through cold-calling, networking events, referrals, and site visits to identify prospective clients who can benefit from our staffing solutions
Cultivate powerful relationships with potential clients, understanding their talent needs and delivering customized staffing solutions
Manage the entire sales cycle, from the initial outreach and needs assessment to presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing
Conduct in-depth analysis of a client's staffing requirements, including job titles, necessary skills, and work environments, to provide appropriate temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire solutions
Dive deep into staffing data and market trends to shape your strategy for success in the competitive staffing landscape
Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to communicate client job order details, present qualified candidates, and facilitate the placement process
Foster a sales-centric culture that values teamwork, results, and delivers top-tier service to our clients
Collaborate with senior management to set branch-level staffing goals and develop action plans
Manage branch expenses and budgets strategically while maximizing profitability
Qualification
Required
A stellar history in staffing or related B2B sales, with an unwavering focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Strong 'hunter' mentality and a relentless drive to generate new business
Experience with B2B cold calling
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients and contacts
Highly organized and self-motivated, with effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
Strong ability to think on your feet, problem-solve, and adapt to changing client needs
Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in using staffing software and CRM systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and worksite visits
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is a plus but not required
