Responsibilities
Analyze P&L drivers, analyze complex data sets, perform fund and portfolio performance analysis and produce investor and fund performance reports for the investment team
Work with large complex datasets and ensure platform data integrity and accuracy
Utilize business intelligence reporting tools to write fund performance and investor reports and manage data (Power BI/Business Objects)
Gather requirements from business users for report development, to provide critical analytical recommendations and to identify operational improvements
Assist with strategic project and ad hoc technology and system enhancements
Collaborate with and support front-office investment professionals, institutional investors and other key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of performance reporting and P&L analysis utilizing business intelligence reporting tools - financial services industry preferred but not required
Advanced reporting experience and proficiency with Power BI required
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from business users, generate actionable reports and identify trends required
Advanced analytical, critical thinking, project management and problem solving skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP BusinessObjects and other business intelligence data and reporting tools preferred
Understanding of the private credit ecosystem, fund structures, waterfall calculations and financial statement analysis is a plus
Exposure to AI and/or interest in working with AI platforms
