Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. This involves conducting market research, analyzing customer needs and preferences, and identifying opportunities for product innovation and improvement
Roadmap Planning: Creating and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the short-term and long-term goals, milestones, and deliverables for the product. This roadmap serves as a guiding document for the product development team and other stakeholders
Feature Prioritization: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities
Requirements Gathering: Working closely with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, ensuring that the product meets the needs of both internal and external users
Project Management: Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. This includes defining project timelines, managing resources, and coordinating efforts across different teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats to the product's success. Using this information to make informed decisions about the product's direction and positioning in the market
Metrics Tracking: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the product. Regularly tracking and analyzing these metrics to evaluate the product's performance and identify areas for improvement
Stakeholder Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the product, both internally and externally. Communicating product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various teams and departments within the organization, such as engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration across all aspects of the product development and delivery process
Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the product and improve its performance, usability, and overall user experience. This may involve gathering feedback from users conducting usability testing, and iterating on the product based on insights gained

Required

A bachelor's degree with a degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 -7 years of experience as a product manager driving the product development strategy and lifecycle (iterating on product roadmap and prioritizing backlog)
Experience with Healthcare IT, claims processing and data analytics domains
Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with software development processes are often necessary for Product Managers, especially in technology-driven industries
Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, analyze market trends, and make informed decisions about product strategy and roadmap prioritization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for Product Managers to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers
Individuals who can inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to work towards a common goal
A deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points is crucial for Product Managers to develop products that meet customer expectations and deliver value
Must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration across all aspects of the product development and delivery process
Entrepreneurial Mindset: be comfortable taking calculated risks, experimenting with new ideas, and iterating on products based on feedback and market validation
Strategic Thinking & Execution: ability to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
Stress Management: should have effective stress management techniques to stay calm under pressure and maintain productivity
Adaptability: need to be adaptable and flexible, capable of adjusting plans and strategies in response to evolving circumstances while maintaining focus on project objectives
Resilience: ability to bounce back from disappointments, learn from mistakes, and continue driving the product forward with determination and optimism
Attention to Detail: must pay close attention to detail to ensure that all project requirements are met, deliverables are of high quality, and risks are adequately addressed
Time Management: skilled at organizing their own time and the time of their team members to maximize efficiency and productivity

Preferred

Knowledge of COB, including primary and secondary payer rules, and related regulatory guidelines (CMS, Medicaid, Medicare) strongly preferred
Familiarity with claims adjudication, reimbursement methodologies and payer-provider dynamics
Knowledge of agile development methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and project management tools is highly beneficial
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is desirable
Experience with user research, customer interviews, and usability testing is beneficial
