Laboratory Technician-Entry Level

Collabera is seeking a Calibration Technician to support laboratory operations by performing inspection, measurement, and test equipment calibrations to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role focuses on learning and applying calibration fundamentals, maintaining calibration records, and supporting day-to-day lab activities.

Responsibilities

Calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment including pipettes, timers, stopwatches, and digital clocks

Maintain accurate calibration records using computerized calibration management systems

Perform scheduled, demand, and new equipment calibrations in accordance with procedures

Troubleshoot, repair, or replace out-of-tolerance devices and support repair prevention analysis

Learn and apply fundamental calibration techniques to perform calibrations independently over time

Follow written procedures, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines consistently

Collaborate with team members and support additional duties as assigned by laboratory leadership

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to learn calibration processes and technical procedures

Basic mathematical, organizational, and time management skills

Proficiency using computer applications such as email and data entry systems

Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures

Ability to work with tools and small components and remain seated for extended periods

Valid driving record with ability to travel between nearby work sites

Preferred

Previous laboratory experience in a regulated environment

Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices

Experience with pipettes or basic calibration activities
