Responsibilities

Participate in complex transportation, site/civil projects involving infrastructure improvements, drainage and detention systems, stormwater and MS4 permitting, Low Impact Design (LID), ADA upgrades, traffic analyses
Mentor staff level engineers and oversee QA/QC
Attend client meetings and public hearings
Prepare and review permit applications and technical reports

Qualification

AutoCADCivil 3DPE licenseConstruction cost estimatingDrainage analysesRoadway designTraffic analysesMentoringWriting skillsCommunication skills

Required

B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
PE license required
10 – 15 years of experience
Design experience with AutoCAD
Preparation of contract documents for construction
Construction cost estimating
Permitting experience
Familiarity with specialized software for drainage analyses
Roadway design
Traffic analyses
GIS systems or other related software
Ability to mentor staff engineers
Provide team leadership
Writing and communication skills

Preferred

5-10 years of experience
