Responsibilities

Design and build end-to-end AI agent applications, from frontend UX to backend orchestration
Implement agent logic, including tool use, memory, planning, and evaluation
Integrate LLMs, vector databases, APIs, and external services
Build scalable backend services (APIs, workers, queues) to support agent workflows
Develop clean, intuitive front-end interfaces for interacting with AI agents
Optimize for latency, reliability, cost, and observability
Write tests, monitor production behavior, and iterate based on real usage
Collaborate on system architecture, security, and deployment strategies

Required

Candidates must be based within a commutable distance to Sunnyvale, Bay Area
Design and build end-to-end AI agent applications, from frontend UX to backend orchestration
Implement agent logic, including tool use, memory, planning, and evaluation
Integrate LLMs, vector databases, APIs, and external services
Build scalable backend services (APIs, workers, queues) to support agent workflows
Develop clean, intuitive front-end interfaces for interacting with AI agents
Optimize for latency, reliability, cost, and observability
Write tests, monitor production behavior, and iterate based on real usage
Collaborate on system architecture, security, and deployment strategies

Preferred

Strong background in building AI agents from scratch
Experience with LangGraph and LangChain would be a plus
Strong experience with Python is important for this role
Expertise with full-stack development would be a plus (python, react/typescript)
Experience with 0-1 product building is a major plus – can be commercial or side projects
