ESL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Student Accounting Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will support the accounting team by preparing reconciliations, shadowing roles within the department, and analyzing data to identify trends.

Responsibilities

Developing an understanding of the Credit Union’s business model and core functions

Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with Policies and Procedures

Shadowing all roles within the accounting department on a rotational basis

Analyzing and organizing raw data to identify trends and insights to share with management

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Currently an undergraduate student in your junior or senior year

Accounting, Finance, or related Business major

Expected to graduate between December 2026-May 2027

Cumulative GPA is 3.25 or above

Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations

Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to develop solutions to modestly complex challenges

Legal authorization to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
