Responsibilities
Enter client demographic information accurately into the tax program
Input W‑2s and other basic tax documents to help the tax professional begin the interview efficiently
Assemble completed tax returns following established office procedures
Obtain all required client signatures
Review the final tax return packet with clients in a clear, professional manner
Ensure the return is complete, organized, and ready for filing
Ensure every Block Advisors client receives superior service throughout their visit
Communicate professionally in person and over the phone
Maintain a clean, organized, client‑friendly workspace
Support office operations as assigned
Assist with administrative tasks when needed
Uphold confidentiality and security standards for all client information
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong reading, math, and data-entry skills
Ability to begin and complete return-related tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems
Effective verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak tax season
Additional state or local requirements may apply
Preferred
Coursework in math, accounting, finance, or related fields
Previous experience in a tax office, administrative support, or customer service environment
