Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite support in a fast-paced environment. The role involves offering technical assistance for hardware and software issues, maintaining desktop systems, and collaborating with IT team members to enhance processes.

Responsibilities
Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Assist users with issues related to AWS Workspace
Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system
Provide A/V support for meetings and events onsite. May occasionally require weekend hours
Work with other IT team members to implement new technologies, improve processes, and ensure efficient cloud operations
Conduct user training and create documentation to improve user understanding of systems and tools
Qualification
Required
Knowledge AWS workspace and virtual environments
Experience in desktop support and technical support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, and server-client architecture
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with cloud support tools and scripting is often beneficial
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Strong communication and professional skills working directly with end users
