Responsibilities
Negotiate and advise on ISDA Master Agreements (including CSAs), MSFTAs, MRAs (repo transactions), and securities lending agreements (GMSLAs, if applicable)
Support prime brokerage agreements and related documentation for financial institutions, hedge funds, and asset managers
Advise internal teams on collateral arrangements, netting, and regulatory compliance in relation to equity derivatives
Assist with counterparty onboarding, documentation workflows, and playbook maintenance , ensuring market standards and regulatory alignment
Track negotiation status, manage escalations, and support high-volume documentation efforts
Stay up to date on regulatory developments impacting equity derivatives documentation
Qualification
Required
JD or equivalent with active bar admission
Experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and related derivatives documentation
Understanding of collateral mechanics, netting provisions, and margin requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple agreements concurrently
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Located in NYC or open to occasional on-site client work
Preferred
Hands-on experience with equity derivatives, prime brokerage agreements, MSFTAs, MRAs, and GMSLAs
Background supporting hedge funds, asset managers, or investment banks
Practical knowledge of regulatory frameworks and market practices
Familiarity with high-volume negotiation environments and maintaining documentation playbooks
