Tax Compliance Operations Analyst

Responsibilities
Participate in the execution of the Tax Operations Quality Assurance Testing process
Supporting strategic initiatives and projects, including automation of OTC processes
Contribute to reviewing and enhancing controls to further mature Tax Compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of Financial Services Experience, ideally with Operations Tax experience
1-3 years of experience with IRS Rules Chapter 3 (NRA), Chapter 4 (FATCA), and Chapter 61 (Back-up Withholding)
Analytical and critical thinking skills for interpreting tax rules and logic
Attention to detail in validating documentation and reconciling client activity
Ability to manage manual and automated control processes, including but not limited to QA testing
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; inclusive of sound judgement
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Highly adaptable and capable of balancing multiple deliverables at once
Highly analytical, and intellectually curious with a powerful desire to solve problems
Preferred
CRS and/or Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Client Tax Requirements is a plus
Experience with Alteryx and/or PowerBI is a plus
