Responsibilities
Coordinate, process, and maintain all Human Resources documentation for new and existing team members utilizing the State of Missouri’s Human Resources Information systems (SAMII and HireTrue), ensuring everything is completed timely and accurately
Provide exceptional assistance to team members with benefits, retirement, payroll issues, or any other questions they may have regarding their employment with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and State of Missouri
Coordinate and oversee timekeeping system to ensure accurate time and payroll of team members
Partner with HR Liaisons and hiring managers to ensure any issues that may arise are completed accurately
Enter, monitor, and oversee Worker’s Compensation claims
Ensure compliance with department policy, as well as federal and state employment laws for all team members
Assist with training of new team members during New Team Member Orientation
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of hiring, classification, benefits, labor relations, negotiation, and Federal, state, and local employment regulations
Knowledge of compensation concepts, principles, and practices, including pay and leave administration and compensation flexibilities
Contributes to maintaining the integrity of the organization; displays high standards of ethical conduct and understands the impact of violating these standards on an organization, self, and others; is trustworthy
Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services
Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, considers the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral and written presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR 2-4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, customer service or other closely related field and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
