Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst
PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst who will review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. The role involves acting as a liaison between IT and users, documenting system requirements, and providing technical advice while overseeing project teams and conducting data analysis.

Responsibilities
Minimum of 10 years as a Business Systems Analyst overseeing the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
Provides technical advice and guidance to customers, field employees and managers both orally and in writing on commercial product acceptance policies, programs, and regulations
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics
Typically performs all functional duties independently
Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently
Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
May be required to create time sensitive deliverables and respond directly to incidents in ServiceNow
May lead project teams within assigned unit to develop, plan and manage project tasks
Independently analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level. Work with vendors to resolve problems; implement solutions independently
Responsible for problem resolution for advanced technical issues in the environment
Conducts data analysis in support of product acceptance programs and initiatives; collects and analyzes data to identify trends and insights and summarize findings. Develops reports and makes recommendations based on results
Analyzes package mail entry data to reconcile customer payments; monitors and ensure customer payments are received accurately and timely. Develops and presents recommendations to management to improve the monitoring and accuracy of revenue collection. Collaborates with stakeholders to reconcile customer accounts and payments and determine if refunds are warranted
Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies and techniques
Experience in creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Knowledge of QA processes and best practices
Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks to perform automated testing to enhance test coverage and efficiency
Experience in using AI-assisted tools for test case creation or execution (a plus)
Strong analytical and reasoning skills for effective problem-solving
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with the team
Attention to detail and ability to identify and report bugs effectively

Broad experience evaluating software designs against business and technical requirements to ensure correctness
General familiarity and experience with project management methodologies/disciplines, especially in the areas of scope, cost and schedule management
Broad experience leading small teams and/or technical projects in the successful completion of assigned goals/objectives
Experience writing and reviewing a broad range of technical documentation, especially technical specifications and design documents
Preferred
A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related discipline is preferred
Experience in using AI-assisted tools for test case creation or execution (a plus)
