Modula USA is the leading US manufacturer of vertical lift modules and automated storage systems. The Buyer will assist in source selection and perform order process functions to ensure the availability of materials needed for production while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP database (SAP)
Perform Cost Analysis to justify source selection
Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and perform order follow up/ expedite duties
Track supplier deliveries and maintain availability dates in MRP
Review and record vendor pricing and lead times
Source and maintain a reliable vendor base (delivery, price, and quality emphasis)
Reduce current indirect supplier base
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience, manufacturing environment preferred
College Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field required
The ideal candidate should possess experience in manufacturing purchasing, and related industry terminology
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in current versions of Microsoft Office Suite is required, with a focus in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication, logic and problem-solving skills are critical to success in this role
Strong problem-solving skills
Inventory management skills
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred
Experience navigating and maintaining ERP/MRP systems preferred; SAP experience is a plus
