Responsibilities

Perform instruction related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college

Employ a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, encourage active learning in all students, maintain proper class related records, promptly assess student coursework, and apprise students of progress

Articulate, current within his or her discipline, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning with related professional experience

Incorporate Biblical principles into the content area

Communicate with all IWU constituents in a professional and academic manner. - (Essential)

Required

Terminally qualified faculty with at least 18 credit hours of study in Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or related course work

Relevant industry experience

Strong Christian commitment and adherence to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement

Doctorate degree in the field or a Doctorate at 18 graduate hours in the field

At least five years of relevant work experience in Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology

Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools

Demonstrated teaching abilities

Demonstrated higher education experience

Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products

Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners

Knowledge/experience with scholarly writing
