Motions for Summary Judgment
Motions to Strike or Exclude Experts
Motions to Compel and discovery-related motions
Motions in Limine
Responses and replies to opposing motions
Support Trial Teams With
Jury charge issues
Preservation of error
Trial and appellate strategy
Handle Post-trial Motions, Including
Motions for New Trial
JNOVs
Remittiturs
Draft and argue interlocutory and appellate briefs in Texas state and federal courts

Required

Licensed in Texas
Experience in drafting, researching, and arguing complex motions in personal injury matters
Ability to handle motions for Summary Judgment
Ability to handle motions to Strike or Exclude Experts
Ability to handle motions to Compel and discovery-related motions
Ability to handle motions in Limine
Ability to draft responses and replies to opposing motions
Support trial teams with jury charge issues
Support trial teams with preservation of error
Support trial teams with trial and appellate strategy
Handle post-trial motions, including motions for New Trial, JNOVs, and Remittiturs
Draft and argue interlocutory and appellate briefs in Texas state and federal courts
Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Evidence
Strong knowledge of Texas appellate practice

Preferred

Experience in complex motion practice
Strong skills in legal research
Strong skills in persuasive writing
Strong skills in oral advocacy
Preference for focusing on motion and appellate work rather than day-to-day client management
