Responsibilities
Perform on-site liaison and supervision at supplier locations to identify root causes and resolve quality issues related to supplier products and processes
Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer-specific quality requirements
Manage supplier quality performance, audits, and process qualifications
Establish performance indicators with the client and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and continuous improvement plans are executed
Coordinate with teams to analyze, understand, and resolve supplier-related issues to ensure timely delivery
Provide regular written reports as required by each work order
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of relevant quality experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with AS9100/AS9145, PPAP, FAI (AS9102), APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans
Demonstrated success in supplier quality development
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with aerospace components such as machining, composites, assembly, or avionics
