Responsibilities

Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure applications are reliable, secure, and user-friendly

Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into clear test plans, detailed test cases, and validation strategies

Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug tracking and collaboration tools

Required

3–5 years of experience in quality assurance for modern web applications, with hands-on involvement in either manual testing, test automation, or a combination of both

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

Experience testing complex, responsive web applications, including user interfaces, backend data interactions, and end-to-end workflows

Ability to translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into clear test plans, detailed test cases, and validation strategies

Solid understanding of web application architecture and how frontend and backend components interact

Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs, including validating responses, error handling, and data integrity (coding required for automation-focused roles only)

Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using standard bug tracking and collaboration tools

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a detail-oriented and quality-first mindset

Comfortable working in fast-paced, remote-first engineering environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
