Responsibilities
Builds and installs equipment necessary for the grower to make field applications
Calibrates and maintains equipment for accurate application rates
Coordinates product deliveries based on rate acres and equipment to ensure adequate supply of product
Ensures that application method, equipment and rate are within label recommendation and crop parameters
Performs necessary maintenance and repair on service equipment
Operating a company vehicle is required
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Other work-related duties as assigned by leader
Regular and reliable attendance is required
Follows all company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Class A CDL and tanker endorsement are required
Pesticide safety training
Understanding of farming practices and equipment
Welding skills
Mechanical skills
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle. Must be able to meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle
Ability to read, write and speak in English is required
Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena
Regular and reliable attendance is required
Operating a company vehicle is required
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Follows all company policies and procedures
Preferred
Hazmat endorsement is preferred
Farming and/or application experience is preferred
Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena
