Confidential is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead the dealership's sales team in driving vehicle sales and meeting sales targets. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while overseeing both new and used car sales.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales goals
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase the dealership’s customer base and market penetration
Manage key customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships with repeat buyers and high levels of customer satisfaction
Analyze sales data, vehicle inventory, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly
Oversee the sales process from customer lead generation, to test drives, to closing vehicle deals
Provide training, coaching, and support to sales staff to ensure their continuous development in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer buying experience, from financing options to vehicle delivery
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market while maintaining profitability
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer programs, and legal regulations

Required

Proven experience in automotive sales, sales management, and customer relationship management
Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a sales team in a high-pressure environment
Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Ability to manage multiple priorities, including inventory management, team oversight, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced dealership environment
Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and other automotive sales tools
Knowledge of technical aspects related to car sales, including financing, leasing, and warranty options
Patience with training and working with both staff and customers
Customer relationship management: 1 year (Required)
Sales: 1 year (Required)
Sales management: 1 year (Required)

Preferred

Vin solutions CRM and Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
