Packaging and Inventory Management Technician - Tuesday/Thursday & Saturday/Sunday

Solvita is a non-profit organization dedicated to recovering, processing, and distributing human tissue grafts. They are seeking a Packaging and Inventory Management Technician to participate in lot processing, contract shipping, and tissue quarantine, ensuring accurate labeling and quality inspection of grafts.

Responsibilities

Load and unload tissue grafts from freeze dryer

Maintain an orderly freezer inventory to ensure ease of access to all grafts. Use inventory tracking and scan checking software to ensure traceability and proper identification

Prepare and receive tissue grafts for/from irradiation

Print labels and label tissue grafts ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards

Inspect grafts for quality, packaging integrity, and accuracy of documentation

Assist with preparation of contract shipments

When applicable, copy all records for contract shipments an ensure completeness and accuracy

Monitor freeze drier cycles to ensure optimal output

Perform supportive document control functions including data entry and filing

Receive and account for whole donors that have been released to manufacturing

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation

Color vision required

Heavy lifting required

Must be able to follow directions, work independently and function as a team member

Must be able to report numbers accurately and work in a highly detailed environment with minimal errors

Preferred

Knowledge of anatomy, processing methods, and sterile technique preferred
