Responsibilities

Drives strategies and alignments across Professional Services and/or Technical Service functions and customer training programs
Collaborates with Marketing, R&D, Readiness, Implementation, and GCS leadership to ensure business and training strategy alignment
Sets individual priorities in context with team priorities to meet goals in the face of multiple demands
Designs, develops, and delivers/implements innovative and creative learning solutions (web-based training, technical training videos, job aids, guides, etc.) applying a variety of methods and eLearning authoring tools
Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key business partners to develop and deliver learning solutions using adult learning principles to enhance the learning experience
Communicates and collaborates with Training & Education Consultants (instructors) on learning solution deliverables
Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of and applies the latest relevant research and methodologies in instructional design
Drives the enhancement of learning solutions based on actionable data and evaluation methods for continuous improvement
Synthesizes voice of the customer (VOC) and voice of the associate (VOA) to ensure satisfaction and continuous program improvement
Demonstrates the principles of user experience and responsive design
Employs agile, iterative development methodologies
Assesses performance needs to craft effective and efficient plans for learning solutions and services that address business-specific requirements and constraints
Evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions against business needs; provides metrics summarizing effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvement to key partners
Partners with Business leaders, R&D, Marketing, customers, and Global Customer Service partners to build highly technical learning solutions that produce measurable positive results
Supports and drives the development and delivery of high-quality and innovative learning solutions that advance performance improvement initiatives
Effectively resolves issues or determines if escalation is needed and drives solutions
Collects and analyzes data as actionable input to continuous improvement
Advanced consultative skills - is the voice of the learner, ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of our content efforts, helping our team iterate and improve on our content offerings
Works across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones
Communicates and collaborates with Training & Education Consultants (instructors) to ensure alignment with education programs, performance solutions, and learning paths
Maintains an advanced knowledge of assigned MMS products or portfolio and stays informed about and plan for upcoming product releases; manages learning path curriculum development for assigned products or portfolio
Leads, monitors, and reports on the progress of projects, ensuring the accuracy of status reports and data related to team metrics
Manages complex learning-related initiatives as a business partner focusing on product use, installation, support, and service for multiple product lines
Manages initiatives targeting organizational improvement for BD business units and customers
Flexes with business strategy changes and acts as a key contributor in a complex environment
Creates and maintains detailed project plans for each program
Balances workload in a fast-paced environment, while working on multiple concurrent projects
Leads Education Services critical initiatives with cross-business impact and involvement
Creates and manages professional communications through a variety of platforms: SharePoint portals, forums, email, bulletins, etc
Takes agile and flexible approaches to evolving business strategies
Navigates within a matrixed environment
Mentors new instructional designers
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, or related field
3+ years' experience in Instructional Design or learning solutions with an emphasis on eLearning
Ability to independently develop complex learning solutions/deliverables based on knowledge of learning methodologies, cognitive science, user-centered design research, adult learning requirements, needs assessment and evaluation
Ability to understand system operations and dependencies to effectively set-up, manage, and troubleshoot problems with learning management and related quality systems
Can quickly learn new products, applications, and systems
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of agile, iterative development methodologies
Outstanding communicator: an individual who possesses superior written/verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner
Adaptability; learns quickly and responds positively to complexity and change
Comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving
Advanced project management skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
Advanced skills and experience with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other learning authoring tools
Experience developing eLearning (web-based training modules), technical training videos (script writing, production, and video editing), documentation, presentations and other training materials maintained in a Learning Management System (LMS)
Travel up to 25% may be necessary
Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old
Compliance with customer onsite vaccination requirements for vendor credentialing may be required if onsite work is needed

Preferred

Master's degree in Performance Improvement, Education Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Interactive Media, or Learning Systems
2+ years' experience in learning management administration
Experience using SAP SuccessFactors, Litmos LMS and Veeva Vault
Industry experience with customer support organizations and/or medical devices product implementation and support in a global environment
Demonstrated experience leading projects and managing stakeholders
Advanced Certificate in Instructional Design
