Responsibilities

Work closely with design team to provide Electrical system design, including medium and low voltage utilities, power distribution, and lighting

Develop and draft basis for design

Perform short-circuit, load flow, voltage drop, and arc flash calculations

Perform circuit ampacity, and conduit fill calculations

Provide technical, communication, and leadership skills necessary to present findings and integrated solutions to customers via written reports and oral presentations

Prepare detailed specifications, contract drawings, and bid packages

Required

BSEE – Electrical Engineering degree

5-8 years of electrical design experience with electrical systems, utility switchgear, equipment design, equipment operation, at large industrial, municipal, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and manufacturing facilities

Design experience in short-circuit, load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, conduit fill, equipment clearance calculations

MUST be AutoCAD proficient

Excellent communication and writing skills

Attention to detail; highly organized
