This role involves balancing recruiting, compliance, employee support, documentation, and daily HR operations while interacting with corporate leadership and franchise owners.

Responsibilities
Manage job postings across major platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn)
Screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews
Assist franchise owners with hiring questions and recruitment strategies
Maintain applicant tracking and ensure timely follow-up
Support reference checks, onboarding, and documentation collection
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining digital/physical employee files
Ensure accuracy of HR documents, contracts, NDAs, and compliance forms
Support payroll processes by gathering employee changes and documenting hours/commissions (not processing payroll directly)
Serve as a point of contact for HR questions
Assist in conflict resolution, corrective action documentation, and policy clarification
Help enforce consistency in HR practices across all corporate locations
Research state-specific labor laws for franchisee questions
Help maintain compliance documents including: labor law posters sick leave guidelines (NY PSL, leave laws, etc.) wage-and-hour rules minor labor restrictions
Ensure onboarding workflows follow state regulations
Assist in creating a multi-state HR reference guide for internal use
Draft HR memos, policies, and procedural updates
Maintain internal spreadsheets for staffing, turnover, and compliance tracking
Assist with preparation of HR materials, checklists, and training documentation
Support the creation of standardized templates for franchisees
Qualification
Required
2+ years of HR experience (Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar)
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
Strong understanding of HR compliance and documentation
Ability to research and interpret different states laws
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of organization and confidentiality
Must be able to work on-site in the West Palm Beach office
High school or equivalent (Required)
Human resources: 2 years (Required)
Ability to Commute: West Palm Beach, FL 33407 (Required)
Preferred
Experience supporting multiple locations or franchises
Understanding of beauty/wellness/service-industry HR
Experience with onboarding workflows and HRIS tools
