Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the location
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members
Document all incidents and security-related activities in accordance with company and client requirements
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed
Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation procedures and coordination with local authorities if required
Qualification
Required
Customer service experience is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
