Human Resources Business Partner
Tower Semiconductor is a global specialty foundry leader specializing in manufacturing analog integrated circuits. The HRBP role functions as a trusted advisor and business partner, focusing on talent development, performance management, and employee engagement to resolve complex HR challenges.
Responsibilities
Serve as an advisor to client groups on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Assess HR needs, research solutions, and develop creative, practical recommendations to support employees and business priorities
Act as a resource on HR processes including performance management, employee engagement, talent acquisition, onboarding, and policy interpretation
Interface with employees at all levels, cross-functional teams, corporate HR partners, and external agencies to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of HR services
Provide balanced, solutions-focused advice to managers that supports both employee well-being and overall business objectives
Provide coaching and support to managers on a range of people-related matters, including performance conversations, policy interpretation and violations, leadership development, succession planning, and career pathing
Support the talent acquisition process by partnering with recruiters and leaders to discuss job needs, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions
Assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and supporting responses related to discrimination claims, unemployment, ADA, FMLA, and other compliance topics
Support documentation, case tracking, and follow-up on employee concerns, policy questions, and coaching conversations
Assist with change management activities, HR initiatives, and rollout of new programs
Prepare and co-facilitate training sessions in response to organizational needs and required compliance programs
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on projects related to benefits, payroll, compensation, learning, and organizational development
Ensure timely completion and high quality of HR deliverables and cyclical activities
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Recommend process improvements to better support employees and leaders
Participate in special projects such as engagement activities, employee events, compliance reports, community initiatives, and process improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
2 – 5 years' experience, ideally in a dynamic or fast-paced environment; experience in HR coordination, HR generalist work, or employee relations support is a plus
Flexibility to support various shifts or schedules depending on business needs
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements; eagerness to continue learning
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Working knowledge of HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, SAP, UKG/Kronos, etc.) and intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-based environment
