Responsibilities
Establish, validate, and maintain division of interest ownership at the well and unit level, from initial setup through ongoing lifecycle changes
Analyze title opinions, conveyance documents, leases, pooling agreements, and curative to calculate accurate ownership interests
Move wells from estimated to final ownership for both Revenue and JIB
Manage ownership updates for working and non-working interest owners
Partner closely with Land, Legal, Accounting, Owner Relations, and IT to ensure data accuracy and alignment
Support acquisition-related cleanup, legacy asset remediation, and data migration efforts
Respond to escalated ownership inquiries and document findings in internal tracking systems
Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and system utilization
Qualification
Required
Significant Division Order experience (typically 10+ years), with a strong focus on Texas wells
Proven background in initial well/unit setup, pooled units, allocations, and ownership calculations
Experience supporting actively drilling assets
Comfort working with data analysis tools and land/ERP systems (e.g., P2 or similar platforms)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred
Prior experience assisting with acquisition assets or legacy data clean-up is a strong plus
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
