Procurement Managers

Hatch Pros is seeking Procurement Managers to oversee the end-to-end procurement process for Facilities and Professional Services. The role involves managing sourcing, contracts, purchase orders, and payments while ensuring strategic sourcing and supply risk management during peak demand periods.

Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Own the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing through payment
Lead RFIs, RFPs, and negotiations across Facilities and Professional Services
Manage intake and prioritize requests during peak periods
Create, release, and update purchase requisitions and purchase orders in Workday
Track status and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
Resolve invoice and payment issues including three-way match discrepancies
Coordinate with vendors on onboarding, process questions, and payment timing
Absorb tactical workload during volume spikes or team absences
Assist with documentation of procurement workflows and future ServiceNow processes
Identify opportunities to aggregate and leverage global Company spending with a focus on improving bottom line performance. Perform ongoing spend analysis to collect, categorize and analyze spend data to develop the foundation for ongoing value generation and ROI optimization. Translate these results into a category plan
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, focused on delivering on their requirements while balancing cost and risk, leading to the optimal vendor solutions for the Company
Establish and maintain strategic vendor partnerships and alliances that promote greater efficiency and value generation in the procurement process and facilitate constructive communications. Maintain a performance measurement and management program for key vendors
Define key metrics and necessary systems to track and report on procurement activity. Provide updates to both leadership and the business on cost savings, vendor negotiations, spend under management, operational efficiencies and future initiatives
Develop processes and drive periodic reviews and evaluations of commodities and services usage, price trends, and market conditions to develop, as appropriate, lower-cost substitutes and alternative sources of supply
Proactively identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcing and purchasing costs by establishing contracts that improve the organization's buying patterns and enhance client’s end to end supply processes
Set negotiation strategies and lead sourcing events (RFx) and negotiations for the most complex, high value and strategically important third-party relationships to secure terms that are in the organization's best interest. Negotiate superior contracts while improving operational efficiencies and service levels. Identify and reduce/eliminate non-compliant or rogue spending
Data Analysis, Reporting, Procurement Tools Usage, Continuous Improvement
Leverage existing procurement toolset (spend analysis and source to pay capabilities) to drive efficiency and transparency into everything we do

Required

Facilities and professional services exp
Able to drive the full flow: sourcing → contract → PO → receipt → invoice → payment/close, maintaining audit‑ready documentation
Someone who knows Workday Strategic Sourcing AND how to document and develop end-to-end procurement processes (in workflows, graphs and Word document steps)
Able to identify bottlenecks; re‑prioritize during crunch periods to protect strategic work
Comfort balancing strategic sourcing with tactical execution with tactical execution not being 'below' them
Workday Strategic Sourcing experience required
Strong accountability and attention to detail
Demonstration of strong financial analytic acumen required
Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies, including senior-level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts
Experience in preparing and presenting complex materials or issues before a wide variety of audiences
Demonstrated record of accomplishment in negotiating contracts and vendor management
Advanced and proven knowledge of procurement industry cost structures and drivers
They need to be presentable- dress well on video
Not have a potty mouth- new boss does not like swearing- she thinks 'damn' is a bad word
Need to be familiar with and provide background, action and results of every stage (IF THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS, PASS): Overview: Stages of Procurement (some say 5, some say 7) Stage One: Need Identification. Stage Two: Pre- Solicitation. Stage Three: Solicitation Preparation. Stage Four: Solicitation Process. Stage Five: Evaluation Process. Stage Six: Award Process

Preferred

Understanding of ServiceNow Workflows (approvals, setting up fields, updates, managing queues, etc.)
ServiceNow workflow familiarity preferred
Undergraduate degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance and/or Business preferred but not required
Preference for candidates with stable tenure- she does not want to see multiple jobs. If they have them and want to move to an FTE we need an LOX on why they are looking to make that type of career move
