Responsibilities

Oversee and lead the team of Retail Specialists by recruiting, onboarding, training, retaining, and managing part-time specialists. Experience in “field marketing” programs, specifically logistics around communicating program goals and KPIs, developing playbooks, and utilizing systems, scheduling tools, and electronic assets to track and measure performance, is highly desirable
Understand off-premise commercial targets and possess strong data analysis skills to inform strategic decisions that help the Retail Specialist team drive significant improvements in volume, distribution, and overall sales performance
Possess the ability to be solution-oriented, forward-thinking, and anticipate potential hurdles that may affect consumer/brand interactions negatively. Utilize a proactive approach to problem-solving to maintain seamless program execution
Interface directly with clients, presenting oneself in a professional and competent manner. Demonstrate the ability to quickly win the trust and respect of clients and peers
Perform a variety of administrative tasks including hosting weekly status calls, data analysis and reporting, composing client memos and finance reports, creating presentations, project timelines, and after-action/contact reports. Track Ambassador activity and ensure comprehensive reporting to avoid gaps
Explain and present the offerings and capabilities of the Retail Specialist Team to the brand marketing, customer marketing, and sales teams at Bacardi North America and their distribution partner, Southern Glazers Wines and Spirits. Leverage understanding of off-premise commercial targets to guide the team in improving volume, distribution, and rate of sale
Be solution-oriented when managing ambiguity. An entrepreneurial approach will help win the respect of the team and supporting departments, while balancing the use of the agency’s tools and adhering to effective practices
Bring a creative and insightful approach to participating and assisting in strategy and creative brainstorming sessions
Practice and ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

Required

+ Bachelor's degree
+ 3+ years of experience in project management and people management; the addition of prior event marketing, or luxury brand experience would provide insight to the position's requirements
+ Understand off-premise commercial targets and possess strong data analysis skills
+ Possess strong people and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with all levels of personnel (internal & external)
+ Extremely organized with great attention to detail
+ Strong knowledge of working within the Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheets, Google Docs (or comparable) and other Web-based tools is a requirement
+ Ability to travel and assist with onsite program management as requested
+ Ideal candidates have a passion for the liquor industry
