Responsibilities
Develop and maintain precise demand forecasts using tools such as SAP APO, R, Power BI, SAS, and Tableau to support production planning and procurement activities
Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, implementing inventory control procedures to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages
Utilize ERP systems including and MRPs to analyze sales trends, production schedules, and supply chain data for continuous improvement
Conduct root cause analysis of supply chain disruptions or inventory discrepancies to identify actionable solutions
Collaborate with purchasing teams to align procurement strategies with forecasted demand and inventory targets
Implement supply chain analytics techniques to optimize logistics operations and enhance product availability
Prepare detailed reports on demand patterns, sales analysis, and inventory performance for executive review
Lead initiatives in process improvement to streamline forecasting accuracy and inventory processes
Qualification
Required
5+ years in demand planning, inventory control, or supply planning
Proven experience preventing out-of-stocks in a multi-SKU environment
Strong Excel and data analysis skills (forecasting models, pivots, scenario planning)
Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Finance
Hands-on experience with ERP and WMS systems
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field
Preferred
Experience in vertically integrated manufacturing environments
Familiarity with S&OP or IBP processes
Background in fast-growth consumer brands or omnichannel retail
Experience managing seasonal demand and promotional forecasting
Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are preferred
Shopify integrations a plus
