Responsibilities
Manage conversion of 6000+ Informatica ETL workflows to Snowflake ELT patterns, coordinating with development teams on complexity analysis, GenAI-assisted reverse engineering, SQL optimization, Autosys scheduler integration, and data validation/reconciliation
Oversee retrofitting of 120 Cognos Framework Managers, 4500+ Cognos reports, and 150 Power BI dashboards to Snowflake, ensuring functional equivalency, performance SLAs, and business user acceptance
Provide technical oversight on Snowflake architecture including database design, warehouse optimization, RBAC implementation, performance tuning, and integration with AWS DMS, S3, Collibra
Monitor Snowflake cost optimization through credit consumption tracking, query performance analysis, resource monitors, and implement best practices for streams, tasks, Time Travel, and data sharing
Coordinate with cross-functional teams in different geographies (Snowflake architects, ETL developers, data engineers, Cognos/Power BI developers, QA testers) with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and velocity tracking
Deliver Project artifacts; facilitate smooth cutover; transition to support and stakeholder sign-off
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in Snowflake and ETL
Project management experience
Lead end-to-end migration of 6 Enterprise Data Warehouses from Oracle Exadata to Snowflake on AWS
Manage project scope, timeline, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across business units and leadership
Manage conversion of 6000+ Informatica ETL workflows to Snowflake ELT patterns
Coordinate with development teams on complexity analysis, GenAI-assisted reverse engineering, SQL optimization, Autosys scheduler integration, and data validation/reconciliation
Oversee retrofitting of 120 Cognos Framework Managers, 4500+ Cognos reports, and 150 Power BI dashboards to Snowflake
