Responsibilities
Lead and guide a team of as400 developers in the design, development, and implementation of as400 applications
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the as400 platform
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot as400 application issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure system stability
Manage project timelines, priorities, and resources effectively to deliver as400 projects on schedule
Stay updated with the latest as400 technologies and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to enhance system performance
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in as400 programming languages such as rpg, cl, and sql
Experience in designing and developing as400 applications, including screen design, report generation, and data integration
Knowledge of as400 database management and performance optimization techniques
Familiarity with as400 utilities and tools for debugging, testing, and deployment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
Strong communication skills to interact with cross functional teams and business stakeholders
Preferred
IBM Certified Developer Associate Developer for IBM I 7.1 or higher
