Account Executive
Capitol Services is a leading provider of services to legal and financial professionals nationwide. The Account Executive will be responsible for promoting the sale of services and establishing long-term business relationships with clients in California.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Grow sales through communication with existing and prospective clients
Communicate with clients and prospective clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
Schedule client and prospective client meetings and develop action plans for follow-up
Identify and resolve client concerns to ensure client retention and growth
Expand market awareness of the company’s services and industry experience
Maintain records of client communications and contact information
Respond to requests for proposals and information
Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
Communicate client and prospective client information with employees, including management, as appropriate
Research market data and maintain knowledge of competitor products and pricing
Submit sales status reports as required to management, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of industry-relevant sales experience
Experience as a transactional attorney or corporate paralegal within a large law firm or a Fortune 1000 corporate legal department
Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce
Comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and interacting with Adobe PDF documents
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments
Strong attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate in both a professional and friendly manner with clients, coworkers, correspondents, and others
Consistently demonstrate a positive customer service attitude
Ability to deal patiently with problems or complaints while remaining courteous when faced with difficult or angry people
Eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise
Ability to retain and implement instruction and training
Open to learn and navigate current processes and systems
Not afraid to ask questions
Able to work in both a team and independent setting
Able to work well with others while getting the job done
Able to work during regular business hours remotely in Southern California
Punctual individual and able to follow an assigned work schedule
Able to maintain client confidentiality at all times
Successful in an entrepreneurial environment
Valid driver's license and good standing driving record
Able to work a flexible schedule and travel up to 50% of the time
