Responsibilities
Follow specific recipe sheets to mix ingredients
Weigh out dry and wet ingredients accurately
Complete assigned tasks in timely fashion
Maintain appropriate PPE and sanitation procedures
Communicate mixer concerns promptly to master mixer or supervisor
Ensure quality specifications are met
Ensure that all Safety rules, OSHA requirements and Company Policies are followed
All staff are responsible for Compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Plant Safety rules while in the processing facility. Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift
Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment
Ability to follow work instruction and maintain pace of mixing
Effective communication skills are needed to maintain batches
Keen attention to detail
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily
Work in and out of cold environment
Must wear required PPE and follow sanitation protocol
Lift up to 50 lbs
Maneuver around an array of equipment that may include: bending, stooping, reach above head
Stand for majority of shift, up to 8 hrs. at a time
