Blount Fine Foods is a family-owned manufacturer of premium fresh prepared foods. The Packaging Technician I position is responsible for the continuous operation of Lidder Machines, Palletizer Machines, or Label Spooler in the Cup Pack out processing department.

Responsibilities

Ability to read and understand daily production schedule

Communicate with Data Clerks and Management about necessary materials and machine malfunctions

Ability to hand palletize, follow pallet configurations, monitor number of pallets

Understanding basic math and have clear handwriting

Ability to diagnose issues within the Palletizer machine, to clear out cup jams and breakdowns, understand how to use the screen and get machine back up and running

Responsible for learning all aspects of Palletizer Machine, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments

Ability to identify product variation to set up machinery in a timely manner

Capable of operating Walkie Stack after proper training and certifications

Required

One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
