Required

Candidates must be full-time, degree-seeking students enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed their Sophomore year of studies

Candidates must have at least one semester remaining after completion of the internship/must not have graduated prior to the internship starting

Candidates must be in good academic standing

Candidates must be willing to work the required schedule as defined in the job description

Demonstrated leadership ability through studies, employment or extracurricular activities

Aptitude for problem solving; strong communication skills

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Emergency Management, Fire and Emergency Services, Disaster Management, or Business Continuity and Resilience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
