ANALYST II
California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking an Analyst II to manage the Training Program for administrative, nursing, medical, and clinical staff members. The role involves consulting with staff, analyzing training needs, and ensuring facility-specific required training is conducted by CCHCS employees.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II has the responsibility for the Training Program for the CCHCS, administrative, nursing, medical, and clinical staff members
The Analyst II consult with staff, reviews and analyzes training needs, makes recommendations for additions, deletions, and changes to the existing training program based on the goals and objectives of the California Correctional Health Care Services
The Analyst II works with California Department of Corrections (CDCR), and the Department of State Hospitals-Stockton (DSH-Stockton), and In-Service Training staff (IST) in a collaborative partnership to ensure that facility-specific required training is conducted and/or completed by CCHCS employees
Qualification
Required
Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties
Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
An additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C
To obtain list eligibility for the Analyst II, before applying for the position, you must first take and pass the Analyst II exam
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification
Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter
Applicants who completed their education outside of the US (with foreign degrees/transcripts) must obtain and submit verification of U.S. course/degree equivalency
Employment History on the STD 678 must be complete and include dates, accurate hours per week, total time worked, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
