Responsibilities

Lead editorial design for print and web, ensuring visual excellence, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
Design and produce layouts using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma and/or Sketch
Collaborate closely with writers, editors, developers, and marketing partners to bring stories and campaigns to life
Receive, organize, and synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining creative integrity and deadlines
Create effective data visualizations, ranging from longform infographics to simple charts and graphics
Apply UX principles and best practices to enhance usability, clarity, and engagement across digital experiences
Contribute to brand strategy, integrated communication, and campaign development
Support art direction and ensure cohesive visual storytelling across platforms
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact design solutions

Required

Extensive experience in editorial design for both print and web
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong experience with Figma and/or Sketch
Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage complex feedback cycles
Demonstrated experience in data visualization; interactive data visualization is a strong plus
Solid understanding of UX principles and digital design best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Conceptual and creative ideation skills
Experience with social media design
Animation or motion design experience (not required, but a plus)
