Responsibilities

Lead the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for projects

Conduct take-offs and analyze project specifications to develop accurate budgets

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders during the pre-construction phase to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals

Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements

Oversee the preparation of tender documents and ensure timely submission of proposals

Implement value engineering strategies to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards

Perform risk assessments to identify potential cost impacts and develop mitigation strategies

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry trends that affect estimating processes

Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with GSA and DSA standards

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, fostering their professional development
