Responsibilities

Administer and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and networking components

Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to ensure proper access controls

Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with DoD security requirements

Monitor cloud resource usage, performance metrics, and system health

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues

Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts and AWS tools

Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud resources

Manage AWS costs through resource optimization and utilization monitoring

Support the deployment of new applications and services to the cloud environment

Collaborate with development and security teams to implement infrastructure changes

Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
