Responsibilities
Generate requisitions and manage purchase orders across all PharmSci business lines
Review requisitions and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
Raise purchase orders, request approvals, and resolve discrepancies throughout the PO lifecycle
Interface with PharmSci colleagues, Procurement, Finance, and vendors to ensure seamless procure-to-pay processes
Manage supporting documents such as quotes and Statements of Work (SOW), ensuring proper signatures and attachment to requisitions
Support new vendor setup and maintenance of existing vendors within Ariba
Extend end dates, close purchase orders, and perform PO maintenance as required
Review vendor invoices and communicate discrepancies back to vendors
Collaborate with vendors, Finance, Procurement, and business partners to resolve invoice and payment issues
Support operational reporting by collecting and tracking monthly metrics including PO approvals, spend, savings, discrepancies, and contractor costs
Monitor purchase order spend, identify under- or overspend risks, and communicate findings to business owners
Qualification
Required
Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines and across global time zones
Excellent written, verbal, listening, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills including pivot tables and related tools
Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within finance or procurement functions
Preferred
Experience with Ariba Spend Management or similar procurement systems
