Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate bank reconciliations to ensure proper cash management
Reconcile accounts receivable balances and assist with collections as necessary
Manage lease agreements, coordinate with landlords, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Calculate, prepare, and submit monthly workers' compensation and sales tax payments
Assist in reconciling corporate credit card accounts, ensuring proper coding and documentation
Coordinate insurance applications, renewals, and compliance documentation
Assist with audit preparation and requirements as needed
Audit retail deposits and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
Perform other tasks and responsibilities necessary to support the accounting department’s goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or retail environment
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
