DroneShield is a rapidly growing company specializing in counter drone technology. They are seeking a Sales Director to join their US-based sales team to sell to the USMC, managing resources to identify and develop opportunities while maintaining engagement with leads.

Responsibilities

Manage and leverage resources to create, identify, develop and qualify opportunities

Create and prioritize strategic target account lists

Work with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects

Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications

Identify and conduct high level conversations with key decision makers

Represent DroneShield at industry events

Conduct demonstrations and installations of DroneShield systems

Provide input in creation of marketing materials and messaging for specified customer groups

Assist in providing distributor and end customer training in product use

Required

10-15 years' work experience related to business development, marketing, or technical and engineering solutions in the USMC space

Strong understanding of USMC organizational structure, procurement methods, key program offices

Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with customers, to include senior executives and General/Flag Officers

Demonstrated understanding of customer needs to align DroneShield's capabilities and core values

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team

Motivated self-starter

High degree of attention to detail

Creative Lateral Thinker

Proven track record of success

Preferred

Prior military service in the Marine Corps
