The role involves assisting R&D engineers in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment, with responsibilities including assembling prototypes, troubleshooting, and supporting calibration programs.

Responsibilities

Assemble prototypes/products per design plan

Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues

Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results

Use internal and qualified vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services

Communicate assignment status to project engineers

Perform basic statistical analysis of results

Train others on new product processes and procedures

Support calibration and maintenance programs for R&D Test Equipment

Required

AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline

1 year of related experience
