Responsibilities
Act as the primary security partner and expert for critical product, platform, and identity engineering teams
Lead the technical design and review of critical security services, focusing on modern authorization, authentication, and inter-service communication
Collaborate with Product Owners to build security-forward, customer-facing features. You will be the security SME driving the roadmap for customer account security and trust
Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE), and secure code reviews for new products and features
Engage with vehicle engineering teams to conduct risk assessments, identify key areas of exposure, and help build a long-term roadmap for vehicle platform security
Develop and evangelize security best practices, reusable patterns, and secure coding standards to empower engineering teams to build securely without sacrificing speed
Triage, investigate, and coordinate the remediation of product security vulnerabilities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in product security, application security, or security architecture
Deep expertise in modern Identity & Access Management (IAM). You must have hands-on experience designing and securing systems using standards like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and robust authorization models
Strong product and architectural background. You can read code, understand complex distributed systems, and have a proven history of partnership with product management
Cloud-Native Security Expertise: Deep understanding of securing cloud environments (AWS preferred), microservices, containers, and serverless architectures
A 'Builder' and 'Partner' Mindset: You are passionate about enabling other teams and building solutions, not just finding problems. You have exceptional communication skills and can translate complex security risks into clear engineering requirements
Broad Application Security Knowledge: Expertise in the OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, and security design review
